Sketch Commissions~

Sketch Commissions

I've been seeing them around everywhere, so I kind of want to get in on the fun. :D I'll open up slots for sketch commissions, and they'll only be $10 and I'll do these until I've reached 100. ^_^ Kind of like folding a thousand paper cranes, except not. So ignore the sketch prices below, if you request a sketch commission, for now they'll be $10 only.

I need moneys, these are clothes I never wear, it's time to hand them off to someone who'll give them more love and attention. ^_^

Brand: ;Punk Rave
Size: XL
$25 + $5 shipping
Only wore it once to try it on.  Unfortunately, I'm too busty to wear this vest.  It's in great condition and wants desperately to be worn.

Front

Back

Brand: Punk Rave
Size: XL
Stretchy
$16 + $5 shipping
This is a very comfortable shirt but I have a long torso and the straps on the back tend to pull it up more than I'd like it to.

Brand: Punk Rave
Size: XXL
Waist: 33"-34"
Hip: 39"-40"
Length: about 40"
$27 + $5 shipping
Tried it on once and found that my butt and thighs were too big to fit into it properly.  Since then, it's been sitting in my closet.

Size: L
$9 + $5 shipping
It's just been kind of sitting in my closet.  For some reason, I never seem to wear it so it's time to pass it on to someone who'll give it more love.  <3

Brand: Target
Size: M-L
$9 + $5 shipping
I'm honestly not sure why I bought this since it didn't fit when I bought it and I was there to try it on.  I think I was going to dismantle it for something else but I've long since forgotten what for so I'm just going to sell it now.  XD

***All sales are FINAL
*Please pay by Paypal and within 7 days.
*Shipping: To U.S.  I have to calculate a different shipping cost for international depending on where you are.

Mission Statement

Like every other artist out there, I'm starving to fund myself and would appreciate the business a ton. But art is much more than a business to me, and I think of every new commission as a challenge to myself. Can I outdo my old works to please not only the client but also the artist within me? I'm not the best artist out there, I'm certainly not one of the best on DA, nor even the best I know. It's not the point of art to be the best because it's so subjective, who's to say what the top is? Picasso's abstract or Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel? Jackson Pollock or Da Vinci?

I guarantee to you that whatever you commission is a task I take unto myself as an artist, not as a businesswoman and that my heart goes into every piece I do. When you request to buy art from me, you are funding me not only financially, but also artistically and it's a funding I duly appreciate. ^_^

Now here are the knitty gritty details.

Payment

I accept payment in the form of paypal.
Concealed cash isn't preferable, but also acceptable if necessary.

What can/cannot be done
I will try whatever I can to meet your demands, but if I honestly cannot do it, I will let you know. However, I can help you narrow your demands by telling you that these are things I absolutely will fail to do properly enough for a paid commission, including...

:bulletred:Mecha (sadly, no Gundams or Transformers would be done justice by my hand)
:bulletred:Machinery/Vehicles (unless you'd like a Honda that looks like a cockroach...)
:bulletred:Anthro (I'm not a fan of the snout face)
:bulletred:Realism (I could take a picture for you! :D)
:bulletred:Creatures (like Final Fantasy monsters? No can do)

Most everything else I can do relatively confidently, and if you have something in mind with a questionable theme, go ahead and ask anyway! Chances are, I won't turn you down. I've drawn ecchi, yaoi, yuri, and a character crucified like Christ, so artistic theme is never a no. I also write fanfiction, but prices for that are so varied, it would be better to just ask me directly about those.

Prices?

All of my prices are given as a range because depending on your request, some things take more time than others. Between two people who request a full body shot of a character, one might want an action pose and the other might want them standing still. Naturally, the action pose takes more time for me to draw and therefore I would charge a little more for that one.

Pencil Sketches
It's not just a pencil outline you're getting. You get shading and toning and everything! You also have the option of getting the hard copy mailed to you, for no extra charge!

$7-20

Example:

Colored Artwork
I make colored artwork using 3 different mediums.
:bulletred: Photoshop CS3/Corel Painter X
:bulletred: Colored Pencils and Paper
:bulletred: Water color painting

$22 flat rate, additional charge depending on the subject matter drawn for digital and colored pencil.
Ex) A single character = $28
A scene depicting multiple people with background = $40+

Example:

:star: The prices for my watercolor paintings are slightly different. Because the painting will be mailed to you, it's almost like a standard print, only I do not get to keep any form of the original. These make them much more valuable to me, and it also imposes a shipping cost on your payment. Also, there are many different things you might request of a painting and time and effort will vary far more on a painting than I can predict for my digital artwork.
As such, my paintings will have a price range of $45 to $100. It is a much larger price range, subject to fluctuation, but mostly the cost comes from time and effort. The shipping charge is separate and given that I don't know how fickle the post office is, I'll let you know the shipping cost when you request a painting. Once I take better pictures of them, I will post the works I've done so far that are also up for sale.

Backgrounds
...are going to cost you because I struggle with them. If you want a background, there's going to be an additional $7 charge regardless of what it is and the price may increase further if the background desired is particularly difficult.

Example:

More samples are available in my gallery in a separate folder, or you can just browse through my entire gallery, if you'd like. :D

Solitude

  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Dir En Grey
  • Reading: Vergil
  • Watching: My life fly by...
  • Playing: The Game
  • Eating: my loneliness
  • Drinking: my insides
In the past few months, I've turned 18, gotten my ears pierced (second pair of holes on the lobe and one in my left cartilage), gone to an anime convention, gone to a Dir En Grey concert in LA, and decided upon my major. O_O

The Anime convention was in Lancaster, CA and was tons of fun. I bought Sode No Shirayuki~ ^_^ So I'll be cosplaying Kuchiki Rukia in May at A-Kon in Dallas. I'm looking forward to it!

The Dir En Grey concert was way hardcore, my neck hurt so good for a couple of days after (too much headbanging), and my throat was bleeding from all the screaming I did. I also got their Uroboros CD and got it autographed by Die and Shinya. J-Rock stars up close are sooo hot! I managed to control myself and not squeal at them. ^_~

My major? Pre-Med and Classics. I'll be going on an archaeological dig in Italy probably 2 summers from now.

Depending on how my Pre-Med classes go, I might just ditch it all to become a Theater major. XD But Classics is sticking.

I've also been pretty ill the past few days. T_T

I've not started on subbing the Live Bankai Show Code 002 yet, I'm sorry!

Winter Break will be much more artistically productive, I promise!

Featured Artists!

:star::iconhildi::star:

=Hildi is a dear friend of mine who specializes in a hybrid art style that's more realistic than it is cartoon-like. Her coloring is sketchy CG and she's especially good with erotic themes. :;):

:star::iconbigyellowbird::star:

A natural talent if I ever saw one. ~BigYellowBird dips his skills into many and various styles of art, all the while keeping his originality, his style, and traditional art standards. His characters (even the ones that aren't human) are always brimming with life and you will see reflected in every piece the soul of this talented man.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:star::iconminjiminji::star:
A recent find for me and one who simply gets better and better everyday. I especially love her coloring, and ~minjiminji is an artist who is still yet exploring her many talents. I've never met someone so passionate about learning more on all forms of art and one whose hands simply can't resist doodling no matter where she is. She's a real treat if you get to know her, and her art is a feast for your eyes as well.
For more awesome people, just go through my watch list. :XD:
I think it's time I practiced a bit of realism. Anyone wanna be my model?
