This is my entry for 's contest! I was in the mood to draw something cute.

Basically, it's their Original characters, Wendy, Arista and Delma going back to school. After reading up on them, I decided to have them participating in theater after school (I do so love theater). Arista is working on Wendy's costume, and Delma is talking about her favorite recipe, while sitting on the hanging moon prop in the room. I know the uniforms aren't exactly how Wendy seems to wear them originally, but I so love this style of school uniforms better, I couldn't help it. Especially with the long sleeves.

This is a style I haven't touched since middle school, when I was reading through Cardcaptor Sakura and I thought that this style would be most appropriate given the characters. I didn't want to draw them completely chibi, but I didn't think it was appropriate to have them busty young women either. It took me a while to get it down right, especially their limbs, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it came out.

True to CLAMP style, I framed the picture with beautiful flowers (practically every other page of CCS has flowers and glowy bubbles surrounding a character's all-too-charming smile), which I drew out and which were a pain in the ass. No brushes this time, it was all me!

This is possibly the closest I've ever come to doing chibi art that I've posted on DA. It was also definitely much more pink than I'm used to and I won't be using that color for a while now. XD
