Another contest entry. This is for
 's contest about Urban Ninjas. The idea sounded interesting so I just came up with something real quick. I used a vectors people brush that I found somewhere, and I referenced the buggy and parts of the background since I can't come up with that sort of thing off the top of my head. It was a pain in the ass though, and I fall in love with the pen tool more and more each time I try to draw backgrounds. The boots are a reference to the beautiful Balenciaga gladiator boots that are WAY out of my price range ($2500+) and I just had to draw something like them. I'm not sure where the belt came from, I was thinking about drawing suspenders, actually. XD Funny how that happens. So she's directing traffic, and stands out considerably from the other normal, boring people walking around their day to day lives. I put in maybe... 15 hours? It was mostly the background, really. ***EDIT Thank you so much everybody for your congratulations! The contest was a lot of fun and I offer up my congratulations to the other winners and to all the contestants!  If you're interested in a commission, don't hesitate to tell me! Comments
So many different things in this I like. I love the idea of the "normal people" being silhouettes....smart idea there. I like how you caught the business of the city too...you have lines going every which way. I LOVE those boots too...too bad they aren't in my price range as well

XD

 -- eat the lucious! It was all about the character. I should be able to look at the character and go...URBAN NINJAAAAA!!!! Which wasn't really all that hard...because any ninja not dressed in black and hooded could be considered and urban ninja of the sort hahahaha
